Renewable Energy Installation Cost

The cost of renewable energy technologies can be offset against the savings provided by your new renewable energy solution.

If you are already interested in investing in renewable energies, you may be aware that one of the many benefits of doing so is the system’s capabilities of saving your household money in the long term.

Although the initial cost may seem quite substantial, it is an important investment that you will continue to benefit from for as long as you need it. Not only will it reduce your gas and electricity bills significantly, it will also ensure that you are doing your best to reduce your carbon footprint and help lower the effects of global warming for future generations.

The costs of fossil fuels are continually escalating due to the increased demand and reduction of supplies. The industry is also now under heightened pressure after the high media coverage over the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in April 2010.

As the Government increases their support into renewable energy through the expansion of wind farms and aid to making homes more energy efficient, gas and electricity costs are rising to cover this expansion. In August 2010 the Government announced an estimated 33% increase to electricity bills and 18% increase to gas.
This means there has never been a better time to start taking steps towards reducing your gas and electricity bills, and the cost of a renewable installation could be a lot more affordable than you may think.

There are many different types of renewable energy, and Lucion can help you decide which may be best suited to you. To find out more about the different types of solutions that are available, click here to see our energy solutions.

There are also ways to save even more money through moving to renewable energy, and it does not have to cost the earth to set up. The Government are so keen to see more homes moving to energy efficient sources that they have set up schemes to help you do so.

There are Feed in Tariffs for electricity and the Renewable Heat Incentive for heating.

This means that moving to renewable energy could become very affordable. We have provided examples of ground source heat pump cost and the savings a ground source heat pump may provide for you here:

ii) Large 4 bedroom detached house (built 1985):
